Heber Valley Railroad

Tonight we stopped in Heber and took the kids on the Heber Creeper before heading home from the elk hunt. Sam absolutely loves trains and I have been wanting to take him on the Heber Creeper for a long time. Monday nights are family night at the Heber Valley Railroad and this was the perfect time to take everyone. It is an hour and half ride on the train to the lake and back. During the train ride the kids got to listen to fiddlers who would play songs the kids requested. Sam requested twinkle twinkle little star and was amazed when she played it on the fiddle for him. Then there was a sing a long and of course one of the songs requested was,  Let it go. Izzy sang her heart out when the microphone came to her. Olivia was a little bashful in front of the mic but sang every word loudly for the rest of the song. Josh politely passed when it was his turn to sing. When we reached the lake it was absolutely  beautiful. It was a full moon and the reflection off the lake was breathtaking. The best part of tonight was laughing together as a family and seeing little Sam grin from ear to ear the entire time.
