Frightmares

We have loved our summer at Lagoon, but we had so much fun at Frightmares. They really had transformed the park with fun decorations and several haunted houses.  My friend Kim and I decided to take our kids for the UEA break. It was a day of riding rides and  spending time with friends. We went trick or treating, got some fun little toys, meet some nice witches who gave us candy and looked forward to evening when all the zombies and scary clowns came out. It started to get dark and about 6 o'clock we ran into our first zombie headed to the pavilion to eat dinner. He completely freaked the big kids out. It was kind of funny to watch. After dinner it was off for more rides. The Turnbows took the older kids and I took their 13 yr old daughter Jessee with me to ride with the little kids. Poor Jessee was petrified of all the zombies and other scary creatures running around. Lagoon does a great job in making sure that the little kids rides are free of anything scary and even when we were at other sections of the park they were great at avoiding the little kids so they wouldn't be scared. As a safe measure Jessee packed Sam everywhere, just to make sure nothing scary approached her. We watched a cute zombie mash up dance show and a chainsaw dance group, that were really good and also humorous. It was a fun and tiring day with good friends.
