Tonight the girls had their spring dance recital. Dance recitals can always get a little hectic when it comes to getting everyone out of the house. Today was particularly crazy. We put our home up for sale two weeks ago and so tonight on top of getting ready we also had to get out of the house an hour early because we had two couples coming to look at the house. We grabbed all the costumes, dances shoes, makeup and much more and headed to grandma's house to get ready. After making a mess of grandma's house it was off to the recital. Lexi was the very first dance and we pulled up within just minutes of her dance (thanks to unexpected traffic). Poor kid ran out on stage seconds before the curtain opened. It didn't bother Lexi one bit, she did a great job. Lexi has been on her competition clogging team for 3 years. She has made tremendous progress. I love watching her dance. It was then Olivia's turn. All week she had talked non-stop about being a star and getting to dance on the stage. That excitement came through tonight. She was laughing and smiling the entire time. Izzy was the last to dance. She has really enjoyed being with her cousin Paisley in Jazz this year. She did great on her jumps and has a real gift for dance. I am so proud of them all.
