Museum of Natural Curiosity

Recently a new museum was built at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah. It is scheduled to open in May, however the kids and I were fortunate enough to visit it today for military appreciation. What an awesome museum for kids. We started in the rain forest. Here the kids climbed across rope bridges, sat in an airplane and fell through spider nets.  It was then off to kidopolis for music making, structure building, putting on a magic show and driving trains. Sam started driving the train and never wanted to stop. The last area was water works.  We built a log cabin and watched as an earthquake destroyed it.  Then we ventured into the wind tunnel, where we felt the force of 90 mph winds. Olivia loved the tunnel. She stood there with arms stretched out wide. This is my child who dreams of being an astronaut, you could see her picturing that dream as she stood there.
What a great day with good friends. Thanks Alyson, Sydney and Pierce for going with us.
