Meet the newest additions to our ever growing animal population. We now have two new donkeys, which Jon has affectionately named Lefty and Junior. Lefty is a big, 3 year old male that was captured by the BLM (bureau of land management) in Nevada. He is very shy and holds back but I think with a little work, he will be our gentle giant. Jon gave him the name Lefty with the hopes of pairing him with Poncho to pack. Yes you read that right, their names are Poncho and Lefty. Junior is a 7 year old male from the Arizona range. We adopted Junior, only because Jon has a big heart and thought he was cute. He got the name Junior because he is the smallest of the four donkeys we own. The kids are excited about the new donkeys. Now comes all the work of getting them ready to pack. The hunt is just a few short weeks away.
