Josh took first place with his car at the Pinewood Derby this year. I was sitting in the audience at the school listening to the girls sing in the choir when I got a text message from Josh. The message read "Hey mom, guess what?" I wrote and asked what was up. The next text that came through was this picture and a few short words saying, "I won first place". I was so excited for Josh but a little sad that both Jon and I had missed it. I am so glad Grandpa Clint was there to support Josh and celebrate his victory with him. This was the last year that Josh got to participate in the pinewood derby because in April he will be turning 12 and going into young mens. What a way to finish cub scouts.
