New Years Eve

Busy busy New Years Eve. Grandma Rose and Grandpa Bill came up the night before to see the kids. They had brought a drone they purchased for Sam. Yesterday Sam practiced it a tiny bit in the house. Today Grandpa took him outside to practice and show him how to do it. Within minutes Sam had it all figured out and no longer needed Grandpa's help. There were a few crashes but he was having fun. In the early afternoon Izzy and I drove down to Ogden and meet my brother in law Dennis to get my nieces Paisley and Britton. They wanted to come up for New Years. Izzy drove us and she did great. The canyon was snowy and she did so good navigating the slushy slick roads. We took her little car Fergie. 

Jon and Bill decided to take a little road trip when we got back to see our property in Idaho. Rose and I visited while the kids played and listened to music. Jon and Bill got back early evening. Rose and Bill needed to get back home so they left before the next storm came in and it got dark.  Dinner was hamburger sliders and lots of other yummy treats. 

After dinner I purchased  a new set of Jack Box games to play on the nintendo switch. Jack box games are awesome. Everyone can play using their own cell phones. We played games for several hours. 

Sam loves that drone. He kept flying it all over the house.

After jack box games it was time for dance party USA. This is a yearly tradition with the girls. They grab Sam's strobe light and put music on the Alexa. They danced and sang all the way to the new year. Everyone made it to the New Year including Jon!!!!
