Cache Valley a few years ago took the old movie theater and restored it. Now they show old movies there and plays. Jon surprised me with a family pass in stocking to the see the movie, Sound of Music. Tonight we took the kids and went. I really didn't think we were going to be able to go. We had a really big snow storm move in and it snowed and snowed. Roads were packed with snow. I tried to contact the theater to see if our tickets could be transferred to another night. No luck, no one answered the phone. After some discussion Jon loaded us all in the truck and off we went. Livy and Sam had watched it with me before at home but Izzy had never seen it. They liked it. In fact Izzy was so upset when the movie stopped for an intermission. She thought that was the end and she was so mad that it would end like that. Sam and Jon were completely bored. Several times they went down to the lobby to go jumping jacks and get treats. Sitting just a few rows away from us was a group of special needs adults. Hearing their comments and cheers just added to the fun of the evening.
