Another great Wellsville Founders Day in the books!!! The day started early with the blasting of the cannon at 5 am to wake up everyone in the city. It is not too bad until about 6 am when it goes off right in the front of the house and makes you startle in your sleep. Once breakfast is over then it is off to sit on the front lawn to watch the Founders Day Parade. I am still in love with the fact that it goes right past our house. There is no hassle to get kids in the car or trying to find a spot. The kids ended up with gallon size bags full of candy this year. After the parade we walked down to the park for rides, shopping and the of course unhealthy food. It always seems to taste so delicious when you pay 2 times more then you should and it comes from a food truck..
