This new year started out completely busy. Rose and Bill had come up the day before. Last night they stayed at a hotel and then this morning they showed up at 8 am this morning. They go to bed early and didn't realize that we had all stayed up late to bring in the new year and so everyone at the house was still sleeping. They were anxious to collect Azia and head home.
Bill had a little surprise for Azia and Sam. He has decided to give each of them a 22 gun. One of the guns belonged to Azia's dad Brandon and the other was Justin's, who had passed away 20 years ago. I am sure that was hard for Bill to give Justin's gun away because they have only a few things left of their son. Sam was very excited to get it. He loves to go shooting with Jon and has saved several of his targets to hang in his room. About 11 am Rose, Bill and Azia were in the truck on their way back home. My sister Kim showed up about the time they were leaving. She wanted to go to the Gossners Chesse Factory. So we went there, it was crazy busy but she was able to stock up on her favorite of cheese. The cheese curd is her favorite. It gave me the chance to stock up on the small chocolate, banana and strawberry milks for the kids lunch. She spent most of the day with me. I have talked her into doing my diet with me. We are not eating any wheat or sugar. I started it the day after Thanksgiving and I feel so much better. My body doesn't seem to really tolerate wheat very well anymore. It is always so nice when my sister comes to visit. She is easy to talk to and she just gets me. The kids have fun together and it is just a relaxing fun time.
