Covid has changed a lot in our lives this year. Every year Jon and I attend a Christmas party at Todd and Heather Browns house. We eat dinner, exchange white elephant gifts and laugh a lot. Covid made it impossible for us to get together this year. In place of it the Browns brought each couple 2 of these Chinese lanterns. Tonight at 7pm we all went outside to send our lanterns up into the sky with our worries of 2020 and our hopes for 2021. Well in true 2020 fashion neither one of our lanterns flew. One tore while we were trying to get it to fill with the warm air. Jon then got worried that if one did start to go up in the air, it would come down and start a fire. He was so worried about it that he took them and covered them in snow and put them out. Covid tried to strike again but we just decided to laugh at the whole situation.
