Had such a fun New Years Eve with the kids. Lexi went out with friends so it was Jon, Izzy, Livy, Sam, Britty and me. The girls started in about 9:30pm with dance party USA. They dressed up in their party dresses and spent the night dancing to their favorite songs using the strobe light. We lost Jon about 10 pm. He lasted as long as he could, but all the dancing and singing was just too much for him. We then watched Wylie Coyote and the Road Runner. About 1130 pm we switched over to cable so the kids could watch the ball drop in NYC. Once the ball dropped we grabbed pots and pans and ran outside to ring in the new year. Britty asked me if it was really okay to bang pots and pans outside. I told her of course. It was so cute. We then opened the curtains and watched the neighbors fireworks. It was such a fun night.
