I knew this day would come but nothing fully prepared me for the day that my oldest would head out the door to his first high school dance. Josh asked his girlfriend Karly Alder about a month ago to Junior Prom and I was so lucky to help Josh prepare for this night. We ordered the corsage, got him a suit and found a tie to match her dress. Josh and Karly have been together for a while but tonight was their first date. He looked so handsome as I handed him the keys to the car and reminded him what time his curfew was. The best part of the night for me as his mom was the tight squeeze he gave me to tell me he loved me as he headed out on the next adventure of his life, DATING!!!
