Driving through the canyon today I couldn't help but be amazed at the beauty of the pines dusted with fresh snow. It brought such a sense of peace to my anxious heart. I knew it was an answer to my whispering of my heart, as I prayed for peace and strength for the day ahead. I was driving through the canyon on my way to Primary Children's Hospital with my daughter who was facing her 5th surgery. Looking at those majestic pines standing strong with the weight of snow on their boughs I knew that my daughter had been given strengths from a loving Heavenly Father that would help her through this surgery and those challenges ahead. I love that the Lord finds unique and special ways to answer the prayers of my heart.
