Now that we live in a great little farming community and have room for animals, Jon took the opportunity to fulfill my dream of owning a goat. He purchased this adorable 10 week old minni goat for me. The kids decided to name him Slim Shady.
He is such a sweet little goat who acts more like a dog. He loves to have his belly scratched and follow you everywhere you go. He loves to go for walks down to the park on his leash. His favorite treats are dandelion tops and milk weed. He will also eat anything in my garden if given the chance. Slim hates water and the dark. He makes his fear of the dark well known every night, when he starts crying the moment we put him to bed in the barn. If the door to the house gets left open Slim walks right in and makes himself at home.
The kids decided to put Slim to good use. They came up with a plan to design him a pack. They sat in the kitchen all afternoon one day, cutting and sewing to make an awesome pack for Slim which holds 6 soda cans. Slim now packs our sodas back from the soda machine.
Slim is such a great addition to our little farm and will run out to greet you when you come out to visit us
