I am so proud of this young man. Tonight was his football banquet and he received his certificate for lettering in football. This was a long tough season and Josh played hard until hurting his back and was unable to play the last few games. Josh has a bulged disk in his back and continued to play until the doctor told him could no longer play without causing more damage to his back. The boys did not have many wins this year due to the high school splitting and most of the team ending up at the new high school Ridgeline. We still had to play in the 5A division even though our numbers qualified us for 3A. It put a lot of strain on our boys because they were playing defense and offense just because we didn't have the number of players needed to play these bigger teams. Josh was excited to have lettered in football as a Junior. He worked hard and deserved to be rewarded for it.
