Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Lexi, happy birthday to you. Lexi turned 13 years old today. Jon and I were sitting on the couch this morning watching a show until it was time to get ready for church. Lexi came down and sat by us. She sat there for the longest time and until she finally said, "Guess what day it is?" be both what day is it and in a very excited voice she announced that today was her birthday. Talk about feeling like a crappy parent. This young lady is growing up so fast. She has turned into this remarkably beautiful young lady right before my eyes. She is quick with witty come backs and an extremely talented writer. She has this incredible voice, and has really make a lot of progress playing the piano and cello. She is a great student in school and can always be counted on to help with her siblings when asked. I love that Livy is right next to her in these pictures. Lexi has a strong bond with Livy and Livy absolutely adores her older sister.
This sign showed up in our front yard this morning, made her day.
