Tulip Festival/Thanksgiving point

I love outings with my kids and today was no exception.  The Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point was on the list and today was the day to check it off.  Olivia, Sam and I jumped in the car and headed to Lehi to meet our friends Amy and Val for a day of fun.
Olivia and Amy loved the flowers but nothing could curb their excitment for the fountian.  They ran around and around it laughing and watching it.

Sam was my happy smiley boy the entire time.  I can't take him anywhere that people don't stop us, just to talk to him because he is so engaging with his smile.
After tiptoeing through the tulips, it was over to the farm to visit the animals.

First we had to ride the horses.  While standing in line, Olivia looked over at me and quietly told me exactly what horse she wanted to ride.   She wanted to ride the "little tiny one".  I wanted to walk next to Olivia as she rode the horse, but she refused.  This brave little girl of mine was quick to remind me she was a big girl and did not need  my help.  After relishing in her big girn at riding the horse, it was off to enjoy all the goats, cows, chickens, etc. that the farm had to offer.
I think this was a perfect picture to end a perfect day.  What sweet little friends these two are!  If you ask Olivia, Amy is her "BEST FRIEND".
