Sam and Olivia decided to participate in the Evening of the Arts at school. Olivia spent weeks using clay to making all of her sculptures and putting it all together in the box. She worked so hard and fretted over it. The night before projects were due, Sam decided to do an entry. He took some legos and made superhero sculptures and put it all together. On the evening of the arts we went to see how the kids had done. Sam got a first place award. Livy got a first place award and the judges choice award. They were both so happy. Olivia was especially happy. She had worked so hard and worried so much about hers. She went back and forth about even turning it. To be awarded the judges choice award so rewarding for her.
