Preston lights

Tonight we took the kids to Preston, Idaho to see the Christmas lights.  It is about a 30 minute drive from our house.  I had heard that there was this awesome house in Preston with a huge light display featuring all the Disney characters and princesses.  It was called the Hollingsworth house and this was the last year that they would be having their light display after 25 years.  Olivia had been fighting a cold all week and really wanted to go to lights.  We were about 15 minutes away and she started coughing.  I can always count on Olivia to throw up every time she starts coughing.  I could tell by the way she was coughing, that we were in trouble.  Jon quickly pulled over and I got her out of the car.  The whole time she is crying and telling me how much she just wanted to go home.  Standing in the cold air for awhile helped her stop coughing and we were back in the car, not sure if this was such a good idea.  The minute we pulled up to the house everyone started to smile and the Christmas spirit started to flow.  Olivia jumped out of her seat in the back and was quickly on my lap.  My neighbor was not joking when she said they had almost every Disney character.  Olivia was beyond elated when she found Ariel the Mermaid.  There was Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Frozen, and many more.  It was so nice to see all the lights and still stay warm in the car.  We stopped for shakes on the way home in Preston.  It started out rough but ended up good in the end.
